February 18, 2008 LEADERSHIP SUMNER SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM GALLATIN, TENNESSEE…Leadership Sumner wants to thank all the individuals and companies that have answered the call for financial support through various levels of sponsorship. The Dollar General Corporation of Goodlettsville, Super Wal-Mart of Hendersonville and GGC, INC of Hendersonville have lent their support at the Gold Level. Silver sponsors are State Senator Diane Black and Kay Russell of Murray Russell & Associate. Bronze sponsors are National Health Care of Hendersonville, Grace Tomkins, Dixie Jones, Beth Wright, Gary Tate, Cynthia Durham, Barbara and Thomas Brennan and the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund: Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Neal of Castalian Springs. These sponsors recognize the significant contribution the Leadership Sumner program provides as an educational forum where individuals can develop leadership skill and deepen their understanding of community issues as well as a means of creating an ever-growing network of knowledgeable, skilled and passionate leaders in our communities and county. Participants in the class of 2007-2008 include individuals from every segment of the county from banking, real estate, and health care to the music industry. Leadership Sumner is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Due to the ever increasing demands on the County budget, the program lost its appropriation on funds, so the need for financial support from the private sector is greater than ever. Over 450 participants have graduated from the program since its inception in 1988. Companies and individuals interested in learning more about sponsorship opportunities can visit the Leadership Sumner website at www.leadershipsumner.com or call Cindy Fox, Fundraising Chair at 390-9907. |
