Renee currently works with the Hendersonville Medical Center. Her previous experience includes broadcast journalism. She is involved in the Hendersonville and Portland Chamber of Commerce and the Junior League of Nashville She has been a Sumner County resident for 3 years and applied to Leadership Sumner for personal growth and to promote business relationships.
Although Ann currently works at the Gallatin Police Department, her previous experience includes being a massage therapist as welling as being a store owner. She enjoys SCUBA diving as well as traveling. She has lived here for 19 years and is looking forward to learning more about Sumner County.
Dean works with Reliant Realty / First Choice Funding. He has previous I.T. experience and is currently involved with the Hendersonville Chamber. His personal interests include motorcross, wakeboarding, boating, and snowboarding. Dean joined Leadership Sumner to learn more about his community to see where he can become involved.
Scottie is a self-described housewife and community volunteer who is involved with Beautiful Hendersonville, GFWC Women's Club of Hendersonville, Young Republicans of Sumner County, and the Jr. League of Nashville. A few of her interests include photography, writing, traveling, church, and politics. She joined Leadership Sumner to be a part of "a great organization which utilizes a diverse group of talents in order to promote the community we live in."
Craig is a Certified Financial Planner with UBS Financial Services. He serves as a board member for Hendersonville Soccer Club, coaches youth soccer, teaches 2nd grade Sunday Schools, as well as being involved with local schools through COMPASS. Craig is interested in learning more about the community. He says he wants to "help maintain what is great about Sumner County, while serving to make positive changes as well.
Sydney is a broker/Realtor with ReMax Choice Properties and has had previous ministry experience. Her current interests include biking, playing the piano, reading, camping and gardening. She has lived in Sumner County for 17 years and hopes to learn and become more informed about the community in which she lives.
Amanda is the Executive Director of Marketing for Eckman/Freeman and Associates. She is involved in the following: Business Women in Health, Risk and Insurance Management, Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Health, Middle TN Worker's Compensation Claims Association. She enjoys gardening, horticulture, physical fitness and wellness programs. Amanda joined Leadership Sumner to find an area to best use her talents.
Christine is a Realtor and Certified Relocation Specialist with Bob Parks Realty. She is involved with Christmas For Kids, Make a Wish Foundation, as well as being a Jack Anderson school sponsor. Her personal interests include traveling, gardening, fishing/boating, animal rights, environmental preservation, movies, reading, and visiting historical sites. As a new resident, Christine says she is looking forward to learning about her community.
Lucinda has spent the last eight years employed by The Farmer's Bank as Marketing Director. She has recently returned to Sumner County after 15 years. She joined Leadership Sumner to get reacquainted with the county in which she now lives. Lucinda is an alumna of MTSU, an active member of NAMA (Nashville American Marketing Association), ABA BAnk Marketing, and serves on the Development Committee for the Alpha 1 Foundation. In her leisure times, she enjoys learning to play golf, church related activities, exercising, music events, and traveling.
Jim has been in the banking business since 2000. He is involved at Long Hollow Baptist Church and is a member of the Lion's Club. He joined Leadership Sumner to meet and interact with other business people in the community. He also wanted to become more familiar with the history and inner workings of the community.
Janna is the owner of the UPS Store which is located next to the Baskin Robins in Hendersonville. She is the Vice-President of the Optimist Club of Hendersonville, a co-founder of HolidayFEST, and is involved with the Chamber of Commerce and Storytellers of Rock Castle. She has lived in Sumner County for five years and wants to learn more about the history and people of her community.
